(EATC)—Egypt’s official Audi Importer—has proudly announced the launch of the all-electric Audi RS e-tron GT and Audi Q8 e-tron with two trims “SUV and Sportback” in the Egyptian market, thereby marking a significant milestone for both the EATC and Audi enthusiasts in Egypt, as it is the first time these cutting-edge e-tron models are available in the country.

First introduced in 2021, the RS e-tron GT is a sportier version of e-tron GT Audi’s first electric sedan. It features a striking, yet futuristic design. As its name “GT” suggests, the RS e-tron GT is a high-performance grand turismo. Key exterior highlights include the Matrix LED headlights with Audi laser light and dynamic turn signals, an animated LED light strip that runs across the entire width of the rear, a panoramic glass roof, a striking electric rear diffuser, all wheel steering, and 21-inch wheels.
Modern, sporty, exclusive, and comfortable are the four words that describe the interior of the RS e-tron GT. The cabin comes with multiple digital displays on its angular dashboard, including a 12.3-inch high-resolution screen for the Audi Virtual Cockpit system and a main display measuring 10.1 inches at the center stack that displays the 360-degree camera. The RS e-tron GT comes with a wide range of luxury features, such as the ambient lighting package plus with 30 adjustable colors, three-zone automatic air-conditioning, and sport seats pro with 18-way adjustment, lumbar support, memory function, seat ventilation, heating, and massage features as well as special badges on the seats and steering wheel. The pedal cluster and footrest are made of stainless steel, a Bang & Olufsen premium Sound System with 3D sound, a head-up display, cruise control with a speed limiter function, Night vision assistant, Electric steering wheel adjustment, Lane departure warning and an Adaptive air suspension, are among the amenities available.
The 2024 RS e-tron GT debuts with two electric motors, delivering peak electrical output boost of 475 kW (646 hp) and 830 Nm of torque. It can run from zero to 100 km/h with Electrical acceleration boost in 3.3 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 250 km/h. All-wheel drive is standard, and net capacity 83.7-kWh lithium-ion battery provides a range of up to 495 km which can be recharged with a DC charger up to 270 kW.
Previously known as the e-tron, the Audi Q8 e-tron launched in 2018. For 2024, the Q8 e-tron has been refreshed with many improvements. It now features a Singleframe projection light grille with evolutionary 2D quattro rings in the middle and Digital Matrix LED headlights with Dynamic lighting welcoming and leaving function. The exterior of the new flagship Q8 e-tron equipped with a Black Styling package and black exterior mirrors, and black roof rails. With availability to order replacement for the side mirrors with the virtual exterior mirror, in addition to lane departure warning system, lane change assistant with exit warning system, rear cross traffic assist, Audi pre-sense rear system to prevent the car from rear collisions, power latching doors and it is also the first model to feature the new model badge with Audi lettering on the B-pillar.
Inside the new all-electric SUV and Sportback trims, there is a very driver-centric layout featuring an advanced MMI infotainment system that incorporates two different-sized touch-response displays: The main display measures 10.1 inches at the center which displays the 360-degree camera and there is also a lower 8.6-inch screen. Other key interior features of the new Q8 Sportback e-tron include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster (Audi virtual cockpit plus), four-zone automatic air conditioning, a panoramic glass sunroof, and sport seats plus with lumbar support, memory function, and seat heating. Among the available features are the Audi phone box, pedal cluster, and footrest are made of stainless steel, a Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System with 3D sound, and second charging port (AC), can be used with an on-board charger from 22 kW (AC) up to 170 kW with the DC converter.
The Q8 e-tron has two electric motors that deliver a total output of 300 kW (408 hp) and 664 Nm of torque. The flagship can run from zero to 100 km/h Electrical acceleration boost in 5.6 seconds before hitting a top speed of 200 km/h. All-wheel drive is standard and the actual 106-kWh lithium-ion battery provides a range of up to 582 km and 600 km for SUV and Sportback respectively.
Egyptian Automotive and Trading Company provides all e-tron models in Egypt with a warranty of 5 years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first, with a warranty on lithium-ion batteries for 8 years or 160,000 km, whichever comes first.
