When God Almighty sent down the heavenly religions to the earth via his prophets “peace be upon them,” he sent them down to guide people by them.
God aims to rise to their principles and live together with their values, and to be a light that protects them, an insight into their present and a vision for their future, to unite all under the shades of love and peace.
The spiritual connection of man to religion- whatever it is- has the majesty of his destiny, and makes man’s affiliation to the One Creator before his affiliation with religion, to unite the human race with the light of faith.
Through it, we learn, grow, cultivate and work, not for the sake of war and destruction, but for the sake of construction and prosperity.
A call for peace
By peace, we achieve a world free of violence and murder, of savage and capitalism, of hatred and division.
We commend the peace of a world that directs its economic forces for the good of the world to keep poverty and hunger away from it, where all people eat and there is a surplus of food, and makes the sick obtain medicine whatever the disease.
Peace makes all people live on a land that is shaded by virtue and wide by mercy, so that human life may be safe.
There is no difference between the prophets. They are all messengers of God who sent them to guide humans and spread virtue and peace among them.
Differing religions are a mercy for humans, through which they are guided. Their principles communicate, and they live by the values of tolerance and coexistence.
IMam Ali bin Abi Talib, “peace be upon him,” said (People are of two types: either your brother in religion or your equal in creation).
No matter how varied the good deeds of man, their goal is the same, which is the worship of God, which all the heavenly books called for and urged by the earthly religions.
Rather, religions existed for the sake of the human being who was created for the best purpose of “inhabiting the land and building it.”
With our religions, races, colors, and genders, we are all partners in existence, faith, and love. Wherever God is found, there is love, so let the bells ring and the minarets grow louder with the greeting of peace. And Happy New Year to all the people.
