Egyptian Stock Exchange Gains 2.35% in Early Week Trading as Major Indices Rise

.The Egyptian Stock Exchange (EGX) kicked off the week with broad gains across its key indices on Sunday.

The EGX30 index rose by 2.35% to reach 42,840 points, while the EGX30 Capped Index increased by 1.7% to 52,349 points. The EGX30 Total Return Index also climbed 2.33% to 19,477 points.

The EGX35-LV index gained 0.79% to 4,647 points.

Mid- and small-cap stocks performed positively, with the EGX70 Equal Weight Index rising 0.69% and the EGX100 Equal Weight Index up 0.87%. The EGX Islamic Index jumped 1.08% to 4,650 points.

These gains were driven by the recovery of major stocks, reflecting renewed investor confidence in the Egyptian stock market at the start of the week.
