Kasrawy Launches Locally-Made Citroën C4X in Egypt

   Kasrawy Group, the exclusive distributor of Citroën in Egypt, today officially announced the launch of the new locally assembled Citroën C4X.

The new Citroën C4X will be assembled at the Arab American Vehicles (AAV) factory in Cairo, a facility of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), in collaboration with Stellantis—Citroën’s parent company.

This milestone highlights Egypt’s ability to meet global manufacturing standards, and reflects the strong partnership between the private sector and national institutions in advancing local automotive production. It also reinforces Kasrawy Group’s commitment to strategic growth in Egypt, in line with the national vision to localize vehicle manufacturing and elevate the local automotive industry through world-class quality and innovation.

Kasrawy Group unveiled the new Citroën C4X’s features, available to Egyptian consumers in two trim levels: the entry trim ‘Feel’, comes well-equipped with Citroën signature comfort features and safety technologies. While the premium ‘Shine’ version offers premium styling touches such as a panoramic sunroof and advanced driver assistance features. With starting prices of EGP 1,289,000 for the Feel trim and EGP 1,449,000 for Shine, the C4X enters the compact crossover segment as a strong contender, reinforcing Citroën’s commitment to offering European quality at accessible prices for the Egyptian market.

The new C4X is powered by a 1.2-liter turbocharged PureTech engine producing 130 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The design merges the sophistication of a fastback sedan with the practicality and elevated stance of an SUV, offering spacious interiors and a generous 510-liter trunk.
